My co-author Barry Tomalin and I are fascinated by cultures and languages. One day Barry, who has worked in 65 countries, said: ‘We should do a book that enables people to navigate any business culture in the world. It will help them to create rapport and do deals, and not commit jaw-dropping faux-pas.’

So we wrote The World’s Business Cultures – and How to Unlock Them. The book is now in its second edition, with chapters on the world’s ten biggest economies, plus six others from Spain to South Korea. We believe that it’s the perfect book for the age of globalization, and we’re now working on a third edition.
